Am I waiting for the great things or simply avoiding reality? I need to constantly validate the fact that I'm in fact passionate about the things I profess to be passionate about. Think about it. To that I'd leave you with this Steve Jobs quote (which you probably know): "...you can't connect the dots looking forward; you can only connect them looking backwards. So you have to trust that the dots will somehow connect in your future. You have to trust in something — your gut, destiny, life, karma, whatever." I admire you for what you are trying to do in Singapore. I guess it is all a question of self-belief. The moment there exist a leader, you will have a lot of followers.
